Drivers across the ArkansasRadio.com listening area are urged to avoid unnecessary travel after the latest IDriveArkansas.com road report showed widespread snow- and ice-covered highways Sunday evening (Jan. 25).

Multiple routes were listed as covered with snow, while several key corridors—especially in parts of Lonoke, Prairie, and Monroe counties—were reported as covered with ice or ice patches. Conditions also varied by location, with a few segments listed as mostly clear but slushy, including parts of Highway 25 on in Cleburne County.

Counties included in the report for the ArkansasRadio.com listening area were: Baxter, Cleburne, Conway, Faulkner, Fulton, Independence, Izard, Jackson, Lawrence, Lonoke, Monroe, Pulaski, Pope, Prairie, Searcy, Sharp, Stone, Van Buren, and White.

Motorists should slow down, increase following distance, and be prepared for refreezing and slick spots—especially on bridges, overpasses, and shaded roadways. For real-time updates, check IDriveArkansas.com before heading out.
