Fairfield Bay has officially been named a 2025 “Trendsetter City” by Arkansas Business, earning top statewide recognition for its innovative leadership and commitment to community excellence.

The city was honored in two major categories:

Public Works

Environmental & Green Management

The Trendsetter program highlights cities across Arkansas that demonstrate forward-thinking initiatives, strong planning, and effective solutions that enhance quality of life. Fairfield Bay’s selection places it among the most progressive communities in the state.

In addition to being featured in a special edition of Arkansas Business, Fairfield Bay will also be recognized during the Arkansas Municipal League Winter Conference in Little Rock this January.

City leaders say the recognition reflects the dedication of staff, volunteers, and residents working to move Fairfield Bay forward. Special appreciation was extended to City Council Member Bella Comas for her leadership in elevating the city’s accomplishments for statewide consideration.

This statewide honor reinforces Fairfield Bay’s growing reputation as an innovative, environmentally responsible, and community-centered city—one that continues to set the pace for others across Arkansas.
