Arkansas State Police Troopers Seize Over 300 Pounds of Marijuana During I-40 Traffic Stop in Lonoke, Arkansas

On November 13, 2025, at approximately 12:45 p.m., Arkansas State Police (ASP) Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a black Toyota Tundra near the 175-mile marker on Interstate 40 for a routine traffic violation.

During the search of the vehicle, troopers discovered 258 pounds of illegal marijuana and an additional 60 pounds of THC products, totaling over 300 pounds of illegal substances.

The driver, Micah Jason Hogue, 49, of Reno, Nevada, was arrested and transported to the Lonoke County Detention Center, where he was booked on charges of felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.

The seizure highlights the ongoing efforts of Arkansas State Police to combat illegal drug trafficking and ensure the safety of highways across the state. Troopers continue to monitor major travel routes for illegal activity and emphasize the importance of law enforcement vigilance in keeping communities safe.

This operation demonstrates the effective coordination and proactive measures of the ASP in intercepting large-scale drug transportation within Arkansas, contributing to public safety and criminal accountability.
