On July 19, 2025, Nicole Ashley Meldgaard, a 31-year-old Augusta resident, was arrested by the Augusta Police Department. The arrest took place at 1:30 PM following a series of alleged criminal acts. She’s accused of kidnapping and having explicit material involving underage children on her computer! You can view her mugshot below.

Meldgaard faces charges including aggravated assault on a family or household member and second-degree domestic battery causing physical injury. She is also charged with kidnapping and computer child pornography.

Meldgaard is scheduled to appear in court on July 21, 2025, at 12:00 PM for most charges, with one hearing at midnight. The court proceedings will address the multiple accusations against her.
