A North Little Rock man has been sentenced to 15 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to 50 counts involving child sexual abuse material.
Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin announced that Eric Bowden, 45, of North Little Rock, pleaded guilty to 50 counts of pandering or possession of visual or print medium depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.
According to the Attorney General’s Office, the investigation began in July 2025 when special agents with the office’s Special Investigations Division received 8 cyber tips from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
Investigators subsequently obtained and executed a search warrant at Bowden’s North Little Rock residence.
The Attorney General’s Office said multiple electronic devices were seized during the search. A digital forensic examination later determined that the devices contained child sexual abuse material, commonly referred to as CSAM.
Bowden was subsequently arrested.
On August 6, 2026, Bowden was sentenced to 15 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.
Griffin credited investigators with his office’s Special Investigations Division for their work on the case and thanked the North Little Rock Police Department for assisting with Bowden’s arrest.
“My office remains steadfast in our commitment to holding those who exploit children accountable and protecting our most vulnerable,” Griffin said in announcing the conviction.
The case is the latest investigation involving cyber tips submitted to authorities concerning suspected online child exploitation and the possession or distribution of child sexual abuse material.
