Arkansas-based Pediatrics Plus has announced the acquisition of Cynergy Rehab Group and Arkids Pediatric Day Centers, significantly expanding pediatric therapy, developmental preschool, and school-based services across Arkansas.

The acquisition adds 12 locations throughout the state, including developmental preschools, outpatient therapy clinics, and extensive school-based therapy partnerships, creating one of Arkansas’ largest providers of pediatric therapy and developmental services.

Following the acquisition, the combined organization will employ approximately 2,100 team members and operate facilities across Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Expanding Services Across Arkansas

Founded in Arkansas in 2002, Pediatrics Plus has grown from a home-health therapy provider into one of the state’s leading pediatric healthcare organizations.

Company leaders say the acquisition reflects a continued commitment to expanding access to high-quality pediatric care while keeping services close to home for Arkansas families.

“This is more than an acquisition. It’s two Arkansas organizations coming together around a shared mission,” said Scott Street, CEO of Pediatrics Plus.

“It’s also an investment in our people. By combining our strengths, we can expand resources for children, families and team members while ensuring more Arkansans have access to the comprehensive services they need close to home.”

Nearly Two Decades of Service

Founded in 2008, Cynergy Rehab Group and Arkids Pediatric Day Centers have spent nearly 20 years serving children throughout Arkansas.

The organizations are recognized for:

Developmental preschool programs
Outpatient pediatric therapy
School-based therapy partnerships
Family-centered developmental services

Their programs have helped thousands of Arkansas children reach developmental milestones while supporting parents through every stage of childhood.

Finding the Right Partner

Founder and CEO Ronnie Norman said preserving the organization’s mission and culture was essential when considering the future.

“For nearly 20 years, we’ve had the privilege of serving children and families throughout Arkansas. As we looked toward the future, we weren’t simply looking for a buyer. We were looking for a partner that would honor our mission, invest in our people and continue putting children and families first.”

Norman said Pediatrics Plus shares those same values, allowing the organizations to preserve their culture while creating new opportunities for families.

Investing in Employees

Kevin James, Chief Operating Officer of Cynergy Rehab Group and Arkids Pediatric Day Centers, said the partnership creates opportunities for employees as well as patients.

“Our success has always been driven by our people. This partnership gives our team access to additional resources, support and opportunities for professional growth while allowing them to continue doing what they do best — serving children and families.”

No Interruption in Services

Pediatrics Plus says all current Cynergy Rehab Group and Arkids employees will join the organization.

Families can expect:

No interruption in services
Continued relationships with therapists and teachers
Gradual branding and signage updates over the next year
Continued leadership during the transition

To help oversee the integration:

Ronnie Norman will serve as an observer on the Pediatrics Plus Board.
Kevin James will continue in a leadership role during the transition.
Expanded Services Planned

Company leaders say the partnership will allow the combined organization to expand available services while building on programs already in place.

Future offerings are expected to include expanded:

Pediatric therapy
Developmental preschool services
School-based therapy
Family support services
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Street said the goal is to simplify care for families who often juggle multiple providers and appointments.

“Families today are often navigating multiple appointments, providers and challenges while trying to get their child the support they need. Our goal is to make that journey easier by providing comprehensive services and expanded resources.”
