Ozarka College has announced Laura Lawrence as its new Dean of Student Enrollment, welcoming an experienced educator and higher education professional back to the college’s leadership team.
Lawrence brings nearly 20 years of experience in education and student services.
Before accepting the position, Lawrence served as a teacher at Melbourne High School from July 2023 through May 2026. She also previously worked at Ozarka College from January 2006 through August 2019, giving her more than 13 years of prior experience with the institution.
A resident of Sage, Arkansas, and originally from Mount Pleasant, Arkansas, Lawrence earned her education at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
College officials say Lawrence’s extensive background in education, student support, and enrollment services makes her an excellent fit for the position. They expressed confidence that her leadership, dedication, and commitment to student success will have a positive impact on current and future Ozarka College students.
Ozarka College welcomed Lawrence back to campus, saying they are excited to have her as part of the college family and look forward to the experience and enthusiasm she brings to the Dean of Student Enrollment role.
