Families in Batesville and surrounding communities will have an opportunity to receive free baby essentials during the next distribution at the Hope Lutheran Family Life Pantry on Monday, July 13.
The pantry, located at 2415 E. Main Street, will be open from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with doors closing at 6:45 p.m. Organizers encourage families to arrive early, as all items will be distributed while supplies last.
The pantry will provide a variety of essential items for infants and young children, including:
Diapers
Baby wipes
Baby cereal
Baby food
Children’s books in both English and Spanish
Fresh garden lettuce
Fresh herbs and spices
The ministry serves families throughout Independence County by helping provide necessities that can ease the financial burden on parents and caregivers.
First-time families receiving pantry assistance must provide a birth certificate for every child under the age of 5 who will receive pantry items.
Anyone with questions or needing additional information may call 870-793-3078. If there is no answer, callers are asked to leave a message, and a volunteer will return the call.
Hope Lutheran Family Life Pantry encourages community members to share information about the event so families who need assistance are aware of the available resources.
