First Community Bank has announced the addition of Ashley Davis as assistant vice president and business development officer in Batesville.

In her new position, Davis will focus on developing new business relationships, serving existing customers, expanding community partnerships and helping strengthen First Community Bank’s presence throughout Independence County. She will also represent the bank at community events and local organizations.

Davis brings 24 years of banking experience to First Community Bank and has built strong relationships throughout Independence County through both her professional career and volunteer service.

She is an active Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador representing First Community Bank and previously served 6 years on the boards of the Independence County Museum and Main Street Batesville. Davis also supports programs benefiting the Sheriff’s Youth Ranch and participates in numerous civic and nonprofit organizations throughout the area.

Before joining First Community Bank, Davis served the Batesville banking community for many years, building trusted relationships with businesses, families and community leaders.

Davis and her husband, Shaun, have 3 children: Dawson Engles, 17; Graci Engles, 13; and Greyson Davis, 10. The family attends Maple Springs Baptist Church in Oil Trough. Outside of banking, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and supporting her children at sporting events.

Founded in Batesville on August 4, 1997, First Community Bank is locally owned and managed. The bank now operates 34 locations across Arkansas and Missouri, employs approximately 650 professional bankers, and reported $3.5 billion in assets as of March 31, 2026.
