A giant pop-up market brought energy and entrepreneurship to the campus of Harding University Friday afternoon, as students gathered to sell clothing, accessories, and other items as part of a campus fundraiser.

The event featured student-run booths offering a variety of merchandise, giving participants a chance to raise funds while showcasing creativity and business skills. Organizers say the pop-up market not only supported fundraising goals but also created a vibrant, community-focused atmosphere on campus.

Founded in 1924, Harding University is a private Christian liberal arts university in Searcy Arkansas affiliated with the Churches of Christ. The university emphasizes a faith-centered academic environment that blends spiritual growth with educational excellence.
As of Fall 2024, Harding has an undergraduate enrollment of 3,535 students and offers more than 110 undergraduate majors along with numerous graduate and professional programs across 8 colleges. The university maintains a 16:1 student-faculty ratio and an average class size of 22 students.
Campus life at Harding includes daily chapel attendance, Bible classes, and a strong focus on community standards. Students participate in social clubs rather than traditional Greek life, and most undergraduates live on campus.
Officials say events like the pop-up market reflect the university’s commitment to student engagement, leadership development, and community connection.
