2 Arkansas students are being recognized for their outstanding achievement in financial education.
Fourth graders Austin Barr and Elias Hernandez earned 1st place in the regional Stock Market Game elementary spring competition, outperforming 151 teams.
The students will be honored next month at a special awards ceremony held at the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, Arkansas, alongside their teacher, Ms. Tia Cook.
The Stock Market Game helps students learn about investing, economics, and financial decision-making through hands-on experience.
Educators say programs like this build critical thinking skills and prepare students for future success.
