The Arkansas Department of Agriculture is now accepting applications for the 2026 Arkansas Century Farm Program, recognizing families who have owned and operated the same farm for at least 100 years.

The program highlights Arkansas’s rich agricultural heritage and honors families who have maintained continuous ownership across generations. Applications must be submitted online by July 31, 2026, and there is no cost to apply.
To qualify, farms must meet several requirements, including at least 10 acres of the original land and a financial contribution to overall farm income. Ownership must remain within the same family through birth, marriage, or adoption.
Established in 2012, the program has inducted 687 farms statewide. Selected farms receive a personalized certificate and a commemorative metal sign listing the farm’s name and year established.
Officials say the program continues to celebrate the lasting impact Arkansas farm families have on the state’s agriculture industry.
