Allegedly Illegal Credit Card Purchase Leads To Arrest
According to case files, the charges relate to incidents on February 1 and 7, 2023, where Thomas allegedly used Paul Grose’s debit card without authorization. Unauthorized transactions totaling over $700 were linked to payments on Thomas’s Conway Corp account.
Detective Wesley Pence’s investigation confirmed the fraudulent charges through bank records and a search warrant.
The warrant reportedly revealed the payments were made to an account registered to Thomas.
Thomas was later booked into the Faulkner County jail under Booking #202501434. His original court date is set for April 28, 2025, at midnight.
Grose reported the fraud after noticing unauthorized charges, including DoorDash transactions and Conway Corp payments. The case was reviewed and approved for charges by Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney John Hout.
Thomas, previously employed at Taco Bueno, is accused of exploiting Grose’s debit card after Grose frequented the restaurant. He remains in custody pending his court appearance.
