The details are something straight from the pages of a horror movie.
Some very serious allegations against a Jacksonville, Arkansas woman. She now faces a slew of charges.

Caretaker Arrested In Arkansas After Maggot and Dog Abuse Allegations
Ferguson had been hired by a family on Facebook as a caretaker of an elderly woman. When the niece of the woman did a welfare check on her aunt, she reported that maggots were crawling out of her legs and bedsheets were sticking to the woman’s skin.
The niece only discovered the maggots after walking in on the patient being changed by Ferguson.
That was in August. Fast forward to September, police finally interviewed Ferguson.
Ferguson was not only charged with that, but also slapped with felony animal abuse charges as well.
Here are some of the charges Ferguson is facing:
- Warrant JA-24-914:
- Issued by: Jacksonville Police Department, AR
- Charge: Felony – Cruelty to Animals under statute 5-62-103(d)
- Bond: $0.00
- Warrant JA-24-868:
-
- Issued by: Jacksonville Police Department, AR
- Charge: Felony – The specific charge is not detailed in the provided text, but it’s another felony warrant from the same department.
Both warrants are felony affidavits from the Jacksonville Police Department in Arkansas. The charge for JA-24-914 is explicitly for cruelty to animals, while the charge for JA-24-868 is not specified in the information given. The absence of bond for JA-24-914 could indicate that the individual is considered a flight risk or the crime is considered severe enough to not allow for bond.
