Just a quick traffic advisory for those who don’t know.
Chick-fil-A Illuminate, a beloved Conway Christmas Tradition, is scheduled for November 30, 2024. Several downtown intersections will be closed for the event. Conway Police Department announced the news online. As a result, parts of Oak Street and Van Ronkle street will be shut down and barricaded off and it could affect traffic.
Downtown Conway To Be Shut Down For Event
Law enforcement will be enforcing the closure of parts of Van Ronkle Street and parts of Oak Street in Conway.
Road closures will begin at 1:00 p.m. and are set to reopen by 7:30 p.m.
Barricades will be set up in the area as well.
The following events will happen:

Ride the Conway Train for $4 from 3-7 p.m.

Enjoy the Ferris Wheel for $5 from 3-7 p.m.

Get photos with Santa from 3-5:15 p.m.

Participate in family activities with live music from 3-6 p.m.

Write letters to Santa with Gratus Wealth Management.

Enjoy crafts, games, and photos with Chick-fil-A and The Summit Church.

Savor hot cocoa courtesy of HD Roofing.

Listen to Funk Fusion Dance at 3 p.m.

Experience the Central Arkansas Wind Ensemble at 4 p.m.

Attend Storytime with Chick-fil-A at 4:30 p.m.

Catch Townsend’s performance at 5 p.m.

Enjoy Sofie and the New Relics at 6:30 p.m.
