New Federal Gun Rule For Arkansas Residents “Out Of Thin Air” Says Attorney General

, , Comments Off on New Federal Gun Rule For Arkansas Residents “Out Of Thin Air” Says Attorney General

Arkansas gun shows have been targeted by the federal government in a new crackdown against gun collectors. Arkansans across the state say it’s downright unconstitutional.

It prevents gun collectors from trading or even selling guns to themselves if the government considers them to be a gun trafficker. The worst part? There’s no set limit to the amount of guns you can buy or sell privately.

That means feds can nail you at moment or any time if they arbitrarily deem you to be a gun trafficker because there’s no set limit of guns you can sell!

Attorney General Tim Griffin even joined a lawsuit against the Biden administration for unveiling vague new rules requiring background checks for gun collectors to buy and trade among themselves.

On Friday, a Federal Judge in Arkansas heard legal arguments against the gun show crackdown. One Attorney General from Kansas told the judge the rule was invented “out of thin air” in violation of gun rights.

Kansas Attorney General Says New Gun Law “Out Of Thin Air”

Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach gave arguments to a federal judge in Arkansas exposing the new gun show crackdown under the Biden administration.

The crackdown prevents private citizens from selling guns among themselves. The worst part? There’s no set limit to how many guns you can sell before the government can automatically label you a gun trafficker.

This gives the government the automatic authority to label anyone they don’t like as a violator of a vague law that nobody understands.

Kobach says that the new gun rule is using another rule as a loophole to go after private gun sellers:

“They took this out of thin air. Congress did not give the authority to interpret personal collection, especially not in such a broad way.”

The new Biden rule is based on the 2022 Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, which led to the proposed rules change scheduled to take effect May 20. However, Kobach said that it was never the intention of the bipartisan rule to target private collectors.

Kobach goes even further, saying the rule is impossible “for any reasonable person” to determine if they are selling too many guns because no set limit is set.

Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin has also released a statement. He says “the Rule is contrary to federal firearms law and it violates the Constitution.”

No one is sure what the judge will decide in this extremely important case pertaining to our freedoms.
