Main Street Searcy Executive Director Amy Burton has announced that country music star Rodney Atkins will be the headliner for this year’s Get Down Downtown festival. This annual free event, which attracts visitors to Searcy from across Arkansas and beyond, will take place on the last weekend of September.
Atkins, hailing from Knoxville, Tennessee, is known for several hit songs, including “Watching You,” “Take a Back Road,” “These Are My People,” “Caught Up in the Country,” and “Cleaning This Gun.” More details about the festival will be shared soon.
