Kim Owen Says Leadership Cleburne County Builds Knowledge and Connections

Kim Owen of Edward Jones says Leadership Cleburne County gave her a new perspective on the community while helping her build meaningful relationships with local people and organizations.

Owen participated in the Leadership Cleburne County Class of 2026. She said the experience provided a better understanding of the county’s strengths, needs and opportunities.

The program also allowed Owen to connect with people and organizations working throughout Cleburne County.

Leadership Cleburne County is designed to provide more than educational experiences. The program helps participants build relationships, expand their professional networks and see the community from different perspectives.

Participants learn about local businesses, organizations, public institutions and community services. The program also helps class members identify opportunities to become more involved in Cleburne County.

Owen’s experience is being highlighted as applications remain open for the Leadership Cleburne County Class of 2027.

Building personal and professional relationships.
Expanding their community networks.
Understanding local strengths and challenges.
Connecting with community leaders and organizations.
Discovering new opportunities to serve.
