Music royalty filled the stage in Mountain View Arkansas as award-winning folk artist Pam Setser opened for 2026 American Idol winner Hannah Harper at the Ozark Highlands Theater.

Harper, who became the first female country singer to win American Idol since Carrie Underwood, delivered an unforgettable performance before a packed crowd in the heart of Arkansas folk music country.

Pam Setser, one of Mountain View’s most respected musicians, welcomed Harper to the community with a performance showcasing decades of Arkansas musical tradition. Setser has appeared on national television programs including Hee Haw, Nashville Now, The Tonight Show, and The Louisiana Hayride.

She also earned recognition as the 2016 Ozark Folk Center Musician of the Year.

Setser began singing at age 5 with her parents as part of “The Simmons Family,” traveling across Arkansas promoting Mountain View and Ozark folk music. Throughout her career, she has shared stages with Grandpa and Ramona Jones, The Whites, Joni Bishop, and actress Mare Winningham.

“What a great night last night at the Ozark Highlands Theater opening for Hannah Harper,” Setser shared. “Hannah put on a great show and was very nice. She will bless many people through her career.”

Harper continues to rise nationally following her American Idol victory and recent performances during the 2026 19 Recordings CMA Fest Takeover in Nashville Tennessee.

Mountain View remains one of Arkansas’ premier destinations for live folk, bluegrass, and country music performances.
