Veterans across White County are invited to take part in the first-ever Veterans Gaming Night hosted by American Legion Armstrong Caldwell, Bo Baker Post 106 in Searcy Arkansas.

The free event will be held Tuesday, June 16, from 6 PM until 8 PM at Marbles Brain Body Fitness located at 901 East Beebe Capps Expressway in Searcy behind One Life Medical Clinic.

Organizers say the evening is designed to bring veterans together for fellowship, friendly competition, brain fitness activities, and community engagement.

Veterans attending the event will have the opportunity to explore interactive brain-body fitness equipment designed to test reaction time, coordination, balance, memory, and overall brain engagement.

The event will also introduce veterans to The American Legion Gaming Initiative while helping Post 106 gather ideas for future gaming events in the community.

Veterans are encouraged to bring their own gaming systems including PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch consoles, controllers, and favorite multiplayer games.

Officials say the goal of the program is to help veterans connect with one another, reduce stress through fun activities, attract younger veterans and families, and build a stronger American Legion community in White County.

The event is hosted by American Legion Armstrong Caldwell, Bo Baker Post 106 in partnership with Marbles Brain Body Fitness and physical therapist Cody Sipes.

The event is free for veterans and guests.
