he Ben and Andrea Vinson family of VW Family Farm in Rose Bud has been named the 2026 White County Farm Family of the Year.
VW Family Farm is located at 5415 Highway 36 West in Rose Bud Arkansas and has become well known across the region for its farm store and locally raised products.
Andrea Vinson shared with ArkansasRadio.com News that the farm specializes in raising registered A2A2 Jersey cattle. She explained the A2 protein found in the milk is considered the most digestible form and demand for raw milk has surged since Arkansas legalized the sale of raw milk in stores last year.
Vinson says raw milk has become the farm’s top-selling product.
“People will stop traffic on the highway to get in here to get it,” Vinson said. “It sells out every time we’re open.”
In addition to raw milk, VW Family Farm also produces beef, pork, chicken, turkey, honey, eggs, sourdough bread, and garden products. The family currently maintains 30 honey bee hives and plans to double production this year.
The Vinson family says their goal is to continue building a true one-stop farm store experience for customers across White County and Central Arkansas.
The family will receive official recognition and their Farm Family of the Year plaque during the upcoming White County Fair.
