NASCAR legend Richard Petty added a historic touch to Elvis Presley history during the Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America stop at Graceland in Memphis.

During the special visit, Petty signed an original poster from the 1968 film “Speedway,” starring Elvis Presley alongside Petty himself. The signed poster will now be professionally framed and added to the Icons Exhibit inside Elvis Presley’s Memphis entertainment complex at Graceland.

The moment brought together 2 American icons — the King of Rock and Roll and one of NASCAR’s greatest legends — celebrating the connection between music, racing, and pop culture history.

“Speedway” remains one of Elvis Presley’s most recognizable racing-themed films and featured appearances connected to the world of NASCAR during the late 1960s. Richard Petty’s signature adds even more historical significance to the collectible poster now destined for permanent display.

The Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America continues to raise money and awareness for Victory Junction, the camp founded in honor of Adam Petty that serves children with serious illnesses and chronic medical conditions.

Fans visiting Graceland will soon be able to view the newly signed “Speedway” poster as part of the Icons Exhibit at Elvis Presley’s Memphis.
