First Community Bank has announced the promotion of Chris Milum to Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending and Non-Interest Income.
In his expanded role, Milum will provide leadership across key areas including secondary mortgage lending, insurance, and treasury management, while continuing to support commercial and real estate lending efforts.

Proven Leadership and Service
Milum has worked in banking since 2015 and has earned recognition for his leadership, including the Arkansas Bankers Association’s Bill Holmes Leadership Award.
In addition to his banking career, Milum serves in the Arkansas Army National Guard. In 2023, he deployed to the Middle East for 12 months in support of Operation Spartan Shield.
His military honors include the General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award and the Theodore Roosevelt Leadership Award.
Strengthening Future Growth
Boris Dover said Milum’s leadership will play a key role in the bank’s continued growth.
“Chris has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep understanding of our organization,” Dover said.
First Community Bank, founded in 1997 in Batesville, now operates 34 locations across Arkansas and Missouri, with approximately 650 employees and $3.5 billion in assets as of March 31, 2026.
