The CALL in Conway and Faulkner Counties is encouraging the community to support local foster and adoptive families ahead of the Area 5 Foster and Adoptive Family Conference set for April 25 in Conway Arkansas.
Organized in partnership with the Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS), the annual conference brings together families from across the region for encouragement, connection, and support. This year’s theme, “A Patchwork of Love: Every Piece Matters,” highlights the vital role every child, family, and story plays in foster care.
Community members can help by purchasing needed items through an Amazon wishlist. Organizers say all donated items will be sent directly and used during the conference weekend to support attending families.
Leaders say the event is designed to uplift foster and adoptive families, offering a chance to recharge, connect, and be reminded that their work truly matters.
The CALL says foster care is made up of many stories—some unfinished, some beautiful—but all meaningful, coming together as a “quilt of love” across the community.
