A fatal crash in Baxter County claimed the life of a Gamaliel man and left another person injured Monday afternoon.
According to the Arkansas State Police, the crash occurred at approximately 2:03 PM on April 20 2026 along State Highway 101.
Authorities say a 1999 Isuzu traveling southbound crossed the center line and struck a northbound 2019 Jeep head on.
Zackery Johnston, 39, of Gamaliel, was pronounced dead. Emily Noblin, 44, of West Plains, Missouri, was injured and transported to Cox South Medical Center.
Conditions were reported clear and dry at the time of the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
