Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation and Arkansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. have announced the promotion of veteran journalist Marine Glisovic to Director of Strategic Communications.
Glisovic joined the organization in 2024 and will now lead strategic communication efforts while continuing to work closely with media partners across Arkansas. Her new role includes overseeing messaging, media relations, and cooperative outreach initiatives.
She brings 16 years of broadcast journalism experience to the position, most recently serving as a senior investigative reporter at KATV. During her television career, Glisovic earned four Emmy Awards for excellence in reporting and investigative journalism.
Officials say her background in storytelling, accountability reporting, and public communication will strengthen outreach and transparency efforts for Arkansas’s electric cooperatives.
Colleagues praised Glisovic’s leadership, professionalism, and commitment to clear public communication, calling her a strong fit for the expanded role.
