Cabot’s police officers and firefighters are teaming up to keep neighbors warm this winter, and the Cabot coat drive is this Saturday.
The Cabot Police Foundation will host the coat drive on Saturday, November 7, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Cabot Justice Center.
Last year’s friendly competition between the Cabot Police Department and the Cabot Fire Department brought in more than 180 coats.
Chick-fil-A is back this year, handing out free single-item cards for the first 100 coats donated.
New this year, the police department’s Scribble Car and the CASS Adoption Van will be part of the event.
All coats collected will be given away during Downtown Christmas in Cabot after the parade on Saturday, December 5.
