Stanley Pharmacy in Searcy is adding a little fun to giving back this October with its “Pie the Pharmacist” fundraiser, all while helping provide Thanksgiving meals to local families in need.
Throughout October, customers and community members can make a donation and choose which Stanley Pharmacy pharmacist they would like to see take a pie to the face.
The fundraiser is being promoted with the Searcy Regional Chamber of Commerce and is designed to turn a lighthearted challenge into real help for families across the community.
For every $40 raised, organizers say a commodity meal box will be provided to a local family in need this Thanksgiving.
Those taking part can donate toward the fundraiser, choose the pharmacist they want to see get pied and then watch the fun happen.
Stanley Pharmacy says cameras are encouraged for the pie-in-the-face moments.
Donations will be accepted through October 31.
