Pangburn FBLA students rolled up their sleeves for a day of service, preparing a hot chicken and dressing meal at the Pangburn Senior Citizen Center in White County.

In all, more than 60 meals were prepared, served and delivered by members of Pangburn’s Future Business Leaders of America chapter.
Photos from the day show students hard at work in the center’s kitchen, working the serving line, packing to-go plates and carrying meals right to local residents’ front doors.

The day was about more than food. A social media post celebrating the project said the group had “a wonderful time serving and spending the day with some pretty special people.”

The post summed it up as good food, great company and even better memories, closing with a simple message for the students: “Way to serve, Tigers!”
FBLA, short for Future Business Leaders of America, is a national student organization focused on building business and leadership skills.
