If you see a helicopter landing at Clinton schools Thursday, October 29th, there is no need to worry. The Clinton School District says the helicopter landing at Clinton schools is a planned learning activity, not an emergency.

As part of its Pre-K Community Heroes Series, the district is welcoming Survival Flight and local emergency responders to campus around midday Thursday.

Students will get to watch a Survival Flight helicopter land on campus and explore an ambulance as part of a fun, hands-on lesson about the important work of community heroes.

“We want our community to know that this is a planned educational activity, NOT an emergency,” the district said in its announcement.

The district says that if you see or hear a helicopter landing or notice emergency vehicles on campus, there is no cause for alarm.

The Clinton School District thanked its community partners for helping bring the special learning experience to its youngest Yellowjackets.
