A 24-year-old Little Rock woman has been charged in connection with a pedestrian fatality on Interstate 430.
Arkansas State Police were contacted around 1 a.m. Monday, September 14, 2026, after a deceased person was discovered in the roadway near the 6-mile marker.
Special agents with the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division responded to investigate. Investigators found several pieces of evidence at the scene, including vehicle parts.
Agents later located a vehicle believed to have been involved in the crash and interviewed the driver, identified as Kaleigh Reaves, 24.
On Friday, September 18, Reaves turned herself in at Pulaski County District Court. She was charged with negligent homicide, leaving the scene of an accident and driving while intoxicated.
The victim was identified as a 36-year-old woman from Hot Springs.
The investigation remains ongoing. Arkansas State Police said no additional information is being released at this time.
As with all criminal charges, Reaves is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
