Baptist Health has received 2 workplace honors from Newsweek in 2026.
The Arkansas health care organization announced September 2 that it has been named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in Arkansas 2026 and one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in Health Care 2026.
The recognitions were presented by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group.
According to Baptist Health, the awards recognize organizations working to create people-first workplaces in today’s changing business environment.
The rankings are based on an evaluation of publicly available information and a confidential nationwide employee survey.
BAPTIST HEALTH CITES COMMITMENT TO EMPLOYEES
Baptist Health Chief Human Resources Officer Cathy Dickinson said the organization’s healing ministry begins with the way it cares for its own employees.
“At Baptist Health, we view our healing ministry as a calling that begins with how we care for our own,” Dickinson said.
She said the recognition reflects the team’s commitment to compassion, respect and excellence.
Dickinson added that Baptist Health works to create an environment where employees feel supported, valued and empowered to continue their work of healing.

NEWSWEEK ADDRESSES HEALTH CARE WORKPLACE CHALLENGES
Newsweek Editor-in-Chief Jennifer H. Cunningham said the state-by-state workplace rankings are designed to help people identify strong employers closer to home.
Cunningham also addressed challenges facing the health care industry, including staffing shortages and employee burnout.
She said health care organizations are increasingly being evaluated on how they support frontline workers, including creating sustainable workloads, supportive leadership and greater psychological safety.
