The Arkansas SHIIP Senior Tour had 2 successful stops in Central Arkansas, bringing free Medicare information, games, prizes and community outreach directly to seniors in England and Conway.
ArkansasRadio.com Radio Stations joined Arkansas SHIIP for the special senior center events, giving local residents an opportunity to receive free, confidential and unbiased information about Medicare while enjoying a day of fellowship and fun.
The tour visited the England Senior Center at 100 E. Taylor Street in England
Then making a stop at the Hawks Senior Wellness & Activity Center, located at 705 E. Siebenmorgen Road in Conway.
At both stops, seniors were able to visit with representatives and learn more about Medicare coverage, available programs and ways they may be able to reduce prescription drug costs.
The events also included free bingo and prizes, creating an opportunity for seniors to socialize while receiving information that could help them make important healthcare decisions.
Arkansas SHIIP, the Senior Health Insurance Information Program, provides free and unbiased assistance to Medicare beneficiaries and their families.
The England and Conway appearances were part of an ongoing effort to take that information directly into Arkansas communities and make it easier for seniors to get answers to their Medicare questions.
ArkansasRadio.com Radio Stations were on location helping spread the word and connecting listeners with the resources available through Arkansas SHIIP.
The Senior Tour stops demonstrated the importance of bringing information directly to local communities while also providing seniors an opportunity to visit, play bingo and enjoy the day together.
