Magnet Cove captured its 1st-ever 2A Girls Golf State Championship at Diamond Head Golf Club, while several schools from across the ArkansasRadio.com coverage area finished among the top 10.
According to results posted by the Arkansas Activities Association, Magnet Cove won the team championship with a score of 278.
Horatio finished as the 2026 state runner-up with a 300, followed by Ouachita in 3rd with 317 and Buffalo Island Central in 4th with 321.
Poyen finished 5th at 328.
Carlisle placed 6th with a team score of 332.
Tuckerman finished 7th with a 342.
White County Central placed 8th with a score of 353.
Mt. Vernon-Enola finished 9th at 360, while Rose Bud rounded out the top 10 with a score of 362.

Ouachita’s Morgan Neel earned medalist honors after shooting an 84.
Horatio’s Abigail Turner finished 2nd with a 91, while Magnet Cove’s Brylee Feild placed 3rd with a 92.
Magnet Cove teammates Tynlee Feild and Ava Herrington tied for 4th with scores of 93.
Palestine-Wheatley’s McKinnley Lee finished 6th with a 95, followed by Poyen’s Lyza Crutchfield in 7th with a 99.
Carlisle’s Charly Cook finished 8th individually with a score of 100.
Buffalo Island Central’s Scout Lyerly placed 9th with a 102.
Horatio’s Hayli Lyon, Poyen’s Kalli Gillham and Life Way Christian’s Graci Weems tied for 10th with scores of 104.
The Arkansas Activities Association said the players appearing on the individual leaderboard qualified for the 2026 All-State team.
