Ozarka College will welcome former U.S. Senator Tim Hutchinson to its Melbourne campus for an evening of conversation, stories and community connection on Thursday, August 27, 2026.
“An Evening with Senator Tim Hutchinson” will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Student Services Center.
Doors will open at 5 p.m., with the welcome and introduction beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Hutchinson will participate in a moderated discussion about his new book and share stories and insights from his life in public service.
“We’re honored to welcome former U.S. Senator Tim Hutchinson to Ozarka College to share his remarkable story of faith, leadership, and public service,” Ozarka College President Dr. Josh Wilson said.
Wilson said the event will provide communities served by the college with an opportunity to experience Arkansas history through the firsthand perspective of one of the state’s influential former leaders.
Following the program, guests will have an opportunity to meet Hutchinson and have books signed. Copies of his new book will be available for purchase during the event.
Door prizes will also be awarded throughout the evening.
Ozarka College is inviting students, alumni, community members and friends of the college to attend.
Ozarka College serves Fulton, Izard, Sharp and Stone counties. The college offers associate degrees, technical certificates, workforce training, continuing education and adult basic education.
