Finders Keepers Thrift Shop is inviting the community to “Spread the Love” throughout August by donating food to support Manna House and local families experiencing food insecurity.
The community food drive began August 1 and continues through August 31, 2026. Donations may be delivered to Finders Keepers Thrift Shop during regular business hours.
Organizers said August is an especially important month for food assistance because children are returning to school while many families continue working to make ends meet.
Manna House operates a thrift store in Melbourne that directly supports its community food pantry. Money generated through the thrift operation helps Manna House purchase food and provide assistance to area residents who need additional support.
Finders Keepers said the food drive represents the power of neighbors working together and showing love through action.
The Longview Dream Center is also joining the campaign and helping collect donations throughout August. Organizers hope the combined community effort will fill the Manna House pantry and ensure that local families have food available when they need it.

Organizers emphasized that any and all food donations will be accepted. Every item collected during the campaign will go directly to Manna House.
Community members are encouraged to donate throughout August and invite their friends, families, churches, businesses and civic organizations to participate.
“We believe in the power of community and loving our neighbors well,” Finders Keepers shared. “Let’s come together as a community and show love in action.”
