Community Theatre of Cabot is inviting audiences into a magical world of wishes, choices and unexpected consequences during the final weekend of its second summer production, Into the Woods.
The musical brings several beloved fairy tales together as a baker and his wife enter the woods hoping to break a curse. Along the way, they encounter Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Jack, with each character pursuing a wish of their own.
As those wishes begin coming true, the characters discover that happily ever after can be more complicated than they imagined. Filled with humor, heart and memorable music, Into the Woods explores the choices people make, the consequences they face and the meaning of family and community.
The final 4 performances are scheduled for July 31 through August 2. Evening performances begin Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. Matinees begin Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.
