Southside Schools Honors 4 Retiring Educators With 97 Combined Years Of Service
Southside Schools is honoring 4 retiring educators whose combined dedication represents 97 years of service to students, families, and the community.
School officials recognized the longtime staff members for their lasting impact on Southside Schools and the relationships they built throughout their careers.
Retiring from Southside Elementary are Marsha Candler with 28 years of service, Kim Cummings with 23 years, and Kelly Sifford with 27 years.
Southside Middle School educator Kathy Ried is also retiring after 19 years of service.
District leaders thanked the educators for the countless lives they touched and the commitment they showed to students and families over the years.
Officials say the influence and care provided by the retiring educators will continue to be felt throughout the Southside community for years to come.
The district congratulated all 4 educators on their retirement and wished them success in their next chapter.
