Community members are invited to gather for a special Memorial Day Service honoring veterans from White County who made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation.
The ceremony will take place Monday, May 25, 2026, beginning at 10 AM at White County Memorial Gardens located at 604 Eastline Road in Searcy.
The service will feature a tribute to SGT. Butch Alumbaugh of the United States Air Force, who served from 1967 through 1971. Organizers say the event will also include the Presentation of the Wreath by Judge Lisa Brown along with the traditional playing of Taps.
Roller-Daniel Funeral Home is hosting the service and encourages the public to attend as the community pauses to remember, honor, and reflect on the sacrifices made by local veterans.
Organizers are also encouraging residents to share information about the event to help reach the families of those being honored.
