Cabot Panther senior and recent graduate Cooper Powell has been honored with the prestigious Brandon Burlsworth Award, recognizing his dedication, leadership, and character both on and off the field.
The award is presented to student-athletes who demonstrate hard work, determination, integrity, and leadership — qualities school officials say Cooper consistently displayed throughout his time at Cabot High School.
Cabot School District officials praised Powell for his accomplishments and the positive example he set for fellow students and teammates during his high school career.
School leaders also expressed excitement about Cooper’s future and congratulated him on receiving one of Arkansas’ respected student-athlete honors.
