The Arkansas TV Foundation has received a major anonymous donation that will help ensure the continued operation of Arkansas PBS.
The gift will provide 1 million dollars per year for the next 3 years, totaling 3 million dollars, and will be directed toward the PBS Dues Fund.
Gay White expressed gratitude for the support, saying the generosity of Arkansans has been inspiring and encourages others to help close the funding gap.
Barbara Pryor added that the donation marks a significant step toward maintaining access to PBS programming across the state.
Supporters say the contribution reflects strong statewide backing for public broadcasting in Arkansas.
