Nature can be interesting yet terrifying.

On Friday, April 4, 2025, a tree was discovered burning near the intersection of West Pleasant Grove Road and South 1st Street in Arkansas. The incident occurred in the area where Rogers and Lowell converge. Footage has also emerged online of the tree still burning hours later, at around 11pm at night. You can view footage below.

Hours later, at 11pm it was still burning and throwing embers, according to one local.

The incident highlights the dangers of these storms. Just because it’s raining does not imply that a rapid fire cannot start.
