Arkansas Woman Arrested For Medicine Felony

A woman named Alicia Flanagan has just been arrested.

The 55 year old from Belle Vista was booked into Washington County Jail on Thursday. She was charged with two counts of practicing medicine without a license, according to a local CBS News Affiliate.

Fraud Is Bad Medicine

Flanagan allegedly used someone else’s information to get local healthcare jobs despite not having a license. She didn’t even have a medical degree!

Practicing medicine without a license is a Class A misdemeanor. Meanwhile, nonfinancial identity fraud is a Class D felony.

She was later released from jail on a $10,000 bond.
