It’s gone mostly ignored in the media. But it happened on February 6th, 2025.
Early in the morning, the Glen Rose Fire District (GRFD) was dispatched to a significant car hauler fire on the 105 WB. A car had burst into flames on the hauler. You can view a photograph of the dramatic scene below.
The incident happened near Brookland, Arkansas in Craighead County.
Car Bursts Into Flames On Arkansas Car Hauler
GRFD crews quickly requested reinforcements from neighboring departments including Rockport – Mt. Willow Fire/Rescue, Turtle Creek Fire & Rescue, and Lonsdale Fire Department.
The fire presented a challenging scenario for the first responders.
All assisting agencies played a crucial role in managing the blaze.
GRFD expressed gratitude towards all the departments that helped in containing the fire.
