A devastating accident near a cotton field in Arkansas has left a driver dead.

Cotton Field Accident Details Released By Arkansas State Police
The accident happened around 9:24pm on October 18th.
Michael Lawrence Barber, 46, from Brookland, was involved in a severe car accident on October 18, 2024.
Driving a Chrysler Pacifica, Barber was traveling westbound on Craighead County Road 948 when his vehicle veered off the road.
The car entered a ditch north of the roadway, rolling over multiple times before stopping in a cotton field.
Barber’s vehicle came to rest approximately 100 feet from the road.
Emergency services responded, but Barber was pronounced dead at the scene.
