A Walnut Ridge Arkansas woman was killed and 3 others injured in a head-on crash Saturday night in Craighead County Arkansas.
According to the Arkansas State Police, the crash happened around 10:15 PM on May 30 along Highway 1 South near the 8831 block in rural Craighead County Arkansas.
Investigators say a 2002 Buick LeSabre traveling southbound crossed the centerline and struck a northbound 2020 Cadillac XT4 head-on. Following the impact, the Cadillac left the roadway and overturned.
Arkansas State Police identified the deceased as 76-year-old Frankie Upton of Walnut Ridge Arkansas. Authorities say she was the driver of the Buick involved in the crash.
Three others were injured in the collision including 54-year-old Tammy Upton of Jonesboro Arkansas, 47-year-old Jean Goza of Jonesboro Arkansas, and 48-year-old Bobby Goza of Jonesboro Arkansas.
The injured were transported to St. Bernards Medical Center and NEA Baptist Hospital for treatment.
Trooper Cody Jackson with the Arkansas State Police investigated the crash. Weather conditions were reported as clear and the roadway was dry at the time of the accident.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
