Governor Sarah Sanders joined the Arkansas Economic Development Commission to award 25 million dollars to 22 Arkansas communities through the Arkansas Site Development Program.

The funding supports development of industrial sites of at least 30 acres, helping communities attract new businesses and expand job opportunities.
7 cities and economic development organizations in the region are receiving funding as part of this investment. Award amounts include:
City of Jacksonville — 51,800 dollars
City of Russellville — 237,546 dollars
Conway County Economic Development Corporation — 1,668,355 dollars
Forward Searcy, Inc. — 680,010 dollars
Little Rock Port Authority — 6,522,727 dollars
Newport Economic Development Commission — 262,800 dollars
Stuttgart Industrial Development Corporation — 585,000 dollars
Governor Sanders says the program helps build a strong foundation for business growth across Arkansas. State officials say the investment will improve infrastructure, prepare industrial sites, and position communities to compete for future economic development projects.
