A fatal crash in Mountain Home is under investigation by Arkansas State Police following a deadly collision on April 17 2026.
The crash occurred at approximately 12:38 PM at the intersection of East 9th Street and McClure Lane in Baxter County. Authorities report that a 2016 Dodge Journey was crossing East 9th Street when it was struck by a northbound 2011 Honda motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, identified as Edward Alexander, 63, of Mountain Home Arkansas, was pronounced deceased. No other injuries were reported.
Officials noted weather conditions were clear and the roadway was dry at the time. The investigation remains ongoing.
