Prairie County Arkansas High Speed Chase Ends With 3 Suspects Arrested After Crash

A dangerous high-speed pursuit Tuesday night ended with 3 suspects in custody after a crash and coordinated law enforcement response across multiple agencies.

Authorities say the incident began around 8:25 PM when the Stuttgart Police Department alerted Prairie County officials about a pursuit involving an SUV traveling north on Highway 63 at speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour.

🚨 Crash Near Slovak Intersection Leads to Foot Chase

According to officials, the suspect vehicle attempted to turn left onto Highway 86 at the Slovak intersection, where the driver lost control. The SUV left the roadway and crashed into a field northwest of the intersection.

Following the crash, 3 suspects fled on foot, prompting an immediate and coordinated response from multiple law enforcement agencies.

Officers from the following agencies responded and established a perimeter:

Prairie County Sheriff’s Office
Hazen Police Department
Stuttgart Police Department
Arkansas County Sheriff’s Office
Arkansas State Police

Law enforcement quickly located and apprehended 2 suspects.

The 3rd suspect was discovered about 1/4 mile from the crash site after a nearby homeowner reported their dog barking. The individual was found hiding in the back of a truck.

All Suspects in Custody

Officials confirmed that all 3 suspects are now in custody following the incident.

Sheriff-Elect Jeffery Bokker praised the teamwork between agencies and local citizens, emphasizing that cooperation played a key role in safely resolving the situation.

Authorities also thanked local residents who assisted by reporting suspicious activity, helping officers locate the final suspect.

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional details, including possible charges, are expected to be released.
