The Cave City Area Chamber of Commerce is inviting the community to step back in time while celebrating the future during its first Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon, themed “Old School & Forever Cool.” set for February 28, 2026 at the Cave City Elementary School Cafeteria, 711 N Main Street Cave City, AR 72521

Rooted in timeless style, community pride, and meaningful connections, the event brings together business leaders, community champions, and local supporters to celebrate excellence, milestones, and the year ahead. The experience blends nostalgic school-day vibes with a polished, modern atmosphere designed to create memorable moments.

“This event is about celebrating the people and businesses who keep Cave City moving forward, while honoring the relationships and traditions that got us here,” said Brandi Schulz, Executive Director of the Cave City Area Chamber of Commerce. “Old School & Forever Cool captures that sweet spot between nostalgia and momentum, where we can have fun, recognize excellence, and look ahead together.”

Guests can take part in the full experience by catching a sponsored bus beginning at 9:30 a.m. Doors open at 10:00 a.m. for “Study Hall,” where attendees are encouraged to dress in their favorite decade, show school spirit, and enjoy playful throwback activities.

During Study Hall, guests can take “class photos” with LBS Photography, browse senior photo throwbacks, trade yearbook signatures, and participate in prize activities including guessing “That Grad,” competing for a School Spirit Award, and unlocking cash prize lockers with lucky combinations. Attendees will also sample walking, upscale throwback appetizers prepared by local Chamber members.

The luncheon and awards program begins at 11:00 a.m., featuring the Chamber’s first Annual Awards Presentation honoring outstanding businesses, individuals, and community leaders who helped shape the year in Cave City.

Lunch will be served old-school style with classic rectangular pizza and fresh salad from Pizza Pro Cave City, followed by warm three-inch chocolate chip cookies from The Muffin Top.

Organizers say the celebration highlights what never goes out of style — strong relationships, shared community pride, and showing up for one another.
